What’s a “cinema” scan? In the stills world this is a fairly unique option. We started our lab as an ECN2 lab working with both motion & stills. We utilize our motion picture scanner to scan motion projects as well as stills. The scanner only looks at one thing, black. Once the black point of your negative is set it doesn’t make any other adjustments. This delivers delivers a scan that is true to the color of the film stock and flat for color grading!

All motion scans are delivered as TIFF files.
