Double X or XX or 5222 is motion picture black and white negative film. It’s amazingly fine grained and pushes well to 1600. Currently we are processing all BW films in a mix of Kodak Xtol & Kodak TMAX film developers. We have landed on Xtol 1:1 for the development of the XX stock and it has amazing tonality and latitude.
